Humble beginnings, hard work and a case of everything happens for a reason… pretty much sums up the story of Sydney born and bred entrepreneur and property developer Ben Doyle. This former plumber, turned Property Developer has successfully forged his own path to create an outstanding track record of accomplishments in the Australian Real Estate market.
In 1997, Ben was introduced to Peter Spann, a successful Australian property entrepreneur of whom Ben went on to play the part of security, body guard and travelling companion to for the next 3 years. Ben travelled all over the world with Peter as he addressed thousands of people in his seminars on teaching how to build wealth through property. As Ben listened through numerous property events, he became more and more interested in the actual content and one day approached Peter about the notion of working with him in property.
Peter told Ben to get his real estate license and then come back and see him about a job in property with him. Ben did this, Peter employed Ben and Ben began his career in the Real Estate market taking a position as a property developer in 2001 with Freeman Fox Pty Ltd. It was not long before Ben excelled at this and demanded the very best the industry could present. Only a year later, in 2002 Ben received the prestigious NSW Real Estate Rookie of The Year Award. Over a 3 year period with Freeman Fox Pty Ltd, Ben was directly responsible for the acquisition, design, project management and resale of in excess of $40 million worth of established residential apartment blocks in Sydney, Brisbane & Melbourne.
He has since founded Fiducia Property Group Pty Ltd, a leading-edge Sydney-based property development company. Using the strength of the Fiducia strategy, Ben has led his team of experts in acquisition, renovation, design and marketing to build a proven and solid track record of property developments.
In the past 5 years this has included acquiring and re-selling over $126 million worth of property!!!
Ben Doyle’s recent success has gained the REINSW Finalist Award for Project Marketing 2008, HIA Building Awards Finalists in 2008 and 2010 for Renovations & Additions. This has been a direct result of Ben’s innovative concepts and ability to reach out to investors and owner occupiers in the market. After recognising a significant gap in the market for tailored property management for investors, Ben established THiNK Property Management – a boutique management company. Ben’s foresight for the company was rewarded in 2008 as the company was awarded REINSW Winner in the Awards for Excellence for Residential Property Management.
In 2009 Ben was appointed as the Managing Director to Property Fox No. 2, a public company listed on the NSX and established by one of Ben’s mentor. Ben was bought on board to strategise and create share price growth in the company and in the past 12 months, Ben has successfully managed the company to DA submission on a $51 million project in Queensland.
This truly is a case of everything happens for a reason, and following true in his mentors footsteps, Ben is now a highly regarded public speaker regularly invited to present at educational property events around the globe.
